The results are immediate and last up to 12 months. As the results are relatively temporary, adjustments can be made as your face changes over time to ensure you always retain a natural look.

Topical anaesthetic will be applied for 20-30 minutes prior the treatment for additional comfort. You should eat and drink a lot of water before the procedure. Immediately after the treatment the treated area(s) will be quite red and mildly swollen. Patients may experience some swelling and mild discomfort in the treated area following their treatment and this may last up to 3 days.

Dermal filler is slowly injected using a fine needle, which helps prevent risks of puncture blood vessels that cause bruising, or risk of injecting into blood vessels, in small amounts and in precise locations into your skin so that there is total control over the procedure. The doctor will then massage the area for a smooth result. During the procedure, you are fully awake. You hold a mirror and are in complete control of the procedure”™s results. You should avoid touching or applying make up on the treated area for 6 hours in order to prevent infection. Specific post treatment instructions will be discussed with you by our Clinician on the day of treatment

Dermal filler is injected in small amounts and in precise locations into your skin so that there is total control over the shape and contours created by the procedure. The doctor will then massage the product to re-shape the nose. During the procedure, you are fully awake. You hold a mirror and you are in complete control of the procedure’s results

To correct, reshape and realign: Slightly crooked nose Small nose that needs building up Hook shaped noses that would like straightening A mild to moderate bump on the bridge of the nose A mild to moderate drooping of nasal tip A nose that needs refinement after surgical rhinoplasty Noses that would like more height, definition and a nose tip

The filler is injected with a fine needle into strategic points on your face in combination with topical or local anesthesia. The injection sites are cleansed with an antibacterial agent, followed by a topical numbing agent to make more sensitive patients comfortable. The filler itself may contain an anesthetic agent, or you may receive a local anesthetic. Multiple injections are often needed to fill wrinkles or recessed scars. Enhancing your lips with fillers also requires multiple injections to distribute the filler for enhanced lip fullness and to raise or define a cupid”™s bow or vermillion border.

It is best to avoid alcohol at least one week prior to treatment. Aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications should be stopped two weeks before treatment (if given permission by a physician) in order to reduce bruising.

Fillers have immediate effect and last depending on the area the filler is placed. For the lips, fillers usually last 6-9 months, although we do offer lip fillers that can last 12-15 months. Most fillers have an average of 6-9 months, however when placed in areas such as the tear trough and nose, they can last up to 18 months – 2 years.

Fillers are not generally covered by insurance when used for cosmetic purposes. Check with your insurance carrier for coverage details.

Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, those who have a neurological disease, or those allergic to albumin or a constituent of the preservative should not use Fillers.
